The E2 Investor Visa allows an investor to buy entry into the USA without actually "immigrating." The E2 visa is typically issued for two or five year periods and covers the investors spouse and children under the age of 21. To qualify an investor must be from a country which maintain a treaty with the United States; invest a substantial amount of capital into an established enterprise and show at least 50% of operational control of the business.
