Unfortunately, the United States does not currently have a treaty with South Africa affording South Africans the opportunity to apply for an E-2 Investor Visa. Therefore, the only two options a South African national can utilize to obtain entry is by:
1. Real Estate:
By purchasing real estate in the United States, a South African can obtain a visitor visa for six months out of the year to be renewed yearly. This will both serve as a safe haven for your money and a lucrative investment vehicle (6-10% return yearly). There is no minimum requirement for the purchase of real estate. Once in the U.S. you can explore different opportunities for remaining here on a more permanent basis, such as attending an educational institution, etc.
2. Relocation Services
